Pending Close
After the RFC validation, but before the Change Manager (CM) closes the request, the change is successfully deployed and is now having an impact on company operations. The CM may take this time to review the entire change request process to ensure it meets the requirements and company policy/standards. If the CM believes the process has been a success, the CM may close the request. Before he closes the RFC, the CM agrees that the change request requires no further consideration and its history is complete.
Tip: If your edition of ChangeGear has the Business Policy Automation feature, you can use the auto-close business rule to close automatically a change request that has been pending closed for 72 hours.
The History tab on the RFC form displays a history of changes made to the RFC. These records provide a useful audit trail.
