Status Types

The status settings you select depend on your role and the change request's position in the change management life cycle. When you create a change request in ChangeGear, select New or Unsubmitted. After you submit your change request, your status options include every phase of the change management life cycle.

Status

Description

Assigned

Either the change manager or an assigned reviewer has assigned the RFC to a change owner form implementation.

Closed

The RFC requires no further consideration and its history is complete.

Escalated

The RFC is placed in a temporary state until appropriate approval can be obtained.

In-Progress

The change owner has begun the implementation of the RFC.

Need More Info

The RFC requires more information for approval.

On-Hold

Either the implementation or the approval of the RFC cannot proceed.

Pending Approval

The RFC provides sufficient information for approval, but has not received it yet.

Pending Close

The RFC has been validated and is ready to close.

Requester Review

All RFC tasks have been completed and require a final review.

Unsubmitted

The requester has created the RFC record, but has not submitted it yet.
