Limiting Service Item Access
The services shown on the Service Catalog can be restricted at two levels - categories and service items. Categories and service items are either unrestricted and available to all users or restricted and only available to select teams. Teams can be selected when editing the category or service item.
Service items can also be limited by organizations, if the Organizations feature is enabled. The organization(s) can be selected while editing the service item.
If a category is restricted to a team, only that team can view the service items associated with the category even when the service item is restricted to different teams. View the table below for further clarification.
