Execution Time
The Execution Time tab lets you specify the maximum amount of time that the ADE will spend scanning a single device. After the allotted time has passed, the scan will stop and the ADE will begin scanning the next device.
To limit detail scan execution time:
-
After opening the Advanced Settings dialog and navigating to the Execution Time tab, check the Limit CI scan execution time check box to enable the feature.
-
Set the maximum number of minutes to run a detail scan in the Maximum scan execution time text box. After this limit has passed, the ADE will stop scanning the current device and will begin scanning the next available device.
-
Set the interval at which the ADE checks the current execution time in the Check execution time interval text box. This is how long the ADE will run before comparing its current execution time to the maximum execution time configured in the previous step.
Note: Depending on what interval you set, the scan may go over the maximum scan execution time.

Click OK to save your changes.
