Overview of Luma Agentic SSP

The Luma Agentic Self-Service Portal (SSP) is the primary user-facing experience where employees and business users interact with Luma agents. Through a guided, chat-based interface, users can ask questions, request help, and complete tasks using conversational workflows.

The SSP connects users to the right Luma agents based on how the platform is configured and which channels are enabled.

The SSP is accessed through the ChangeGear Self-Service Portal and reflects the agents, tools, and permissions configured in the Luma Agentic Platform.

For administrators - Configuring the SSP

The SSP is configured by administrative and agent-authoring decisions made in the Luma Agentic Platform, including:

  • Which agents are published and exposed

  • Which channels make agents available (for example, Employee Portal)

  • Chanel-level authentication using access keys

  • User reconciliation rules that match portal users to Luma users

  • Agent behavior, tools, and integrations

Changes made by administrators or agent authors—such as publishing a new agent or updating an existing one—are reflected in the SSP once those changes are saved and published.

To configure or manage the SSP experience, see Integrating Luma Agents with ChangeGear.

Using the Self-Service Portal

When you start a conversation, the portal routes your request to the appropriate agent based on your needs. Agents respond using the instructions, tools, and integrations configured by your organization. As agents are updated or new agents are published, those changes become available in the SSP automatically.

From the Self-Service Portal, you can:

  • Discover and launch available Luma agents

  • Ask questions or request help using natural language

  • Complete guided conversations powered by agent workflows

  • View active and past conversations

  • Receive responses, confirmations, and next steps from agents

Note: The SSP experience adapts based on the user’s role, permissions, and the agents exposed through configured channels.
